Get them in a simple manually controlled version, where you simply turn them on and off from the knob on the front of them, and adjust the flame height and enjoy.
Or you might opt for the millivolt version, which allows for a wall switch or a handheld remote. A thermostat remote can allow you to regulate the desired room temperature just be setting a digitally displayed set temperature, just like you would with your normal room thermostat for your central heat.
